WELCOME TO THE CENTIDAY!
15 minutes or less to make yourself more interesting, wise, and charming
We are Karen Duffy and Francis Gasparini and we will make your life better, one centiday at a time
A centiday is one percent of a day, or 14 minutes and 24 seconds. If you devote a centiday to yourself, every day, you’ll be the most fascinating, well adjusted, and amusing person in any room. The most attractive, too? Sure, knowledge is sexy.
You need THE CENTIDAY!
The world can be a hard, confusing place to navigate, but we aim to give you a roadmap. Our core philosophy is Stoicism, and our core belief is that you can’t change what happens, but you can change how you respond to it.
IMPORTANT: Stoicism is a JOYFUL way of living, and our writing embodies Stoic joy, fascinating facts, ripping yarns, and juvenile humor. We’re not French philosophers loaded with ennui sitting around in a cafe smoking cigarettes and eating a stale baguette.
We are philosophical fireworks salesmen, We love dancing bears, pirates, wooden-legged female spies, and of course donkeys. Expect lots of donkeys.
All are welcome
Stoics strive to embrace all humanity as part of our community, and we expect that sooner of later every human on earth will follow us. Whatever philosophy guides you now, Stoicism will offer wisdom to help you, in the form of posts you can enjoy whenever you decide to use your centiday.
Remember, Stoicism is a PED: a Performance-Enhancing Doctrine.
Strap in and get ready for the ride of a lifetime
We’ll post at least three times a week. Some posts will be thoughtful, some might be silly images of old-fashioned candy cigarettes, some will be thoughtful posts about candy cigarettes.
We’re launching with a free tier only. As people join in the Centiday community, we’ll consider adding a premium tier, but will NEVER get rid of the free tier.
If you’re interested in a paid, please use the “pledge” option through the subscribe button below to let us know. You won’t be charged unless and until we do launch the paid tier. And we’ll let you know in advance because circumstances change and so do people’s minds.
Thank you for reading this far!
It’s not happiness that makes us grateful, it’s gratitude that makes us happy. We are grateful and happy to connect with you.
